Throughout my 7 years as a Wedding Photographer I’ve learned a thing or two that I wish I would have known when I was planning my wedding. If you’d like to learn tips & tricks, see real weddings, and sessions then this blog is for you! I hope this can be a tool for all my couples and anyone searching for wedding inspiration.

Eloping on Mount Spokane is a beautiful option for couples who want their wedding day to feel intentional, grounded, and truly their own. Just outside of Spokane, Mt. Spokane offers forested trails, quiet overlooks, and a sense of calm that makes space for connection rather than performance.
I’m a Spokane-based elopement photographer working with couples across Eastern Washington and the Inland Northwest who want to be fully present on their wedding day. Mt. Spokane elopements are especially meaningful for couples who value time with their people, personal locations, and an experience that feels relaxed instead of rushed.
All couples are welcome here. All bodies, all identities, all love. Your relationship gets my full support and care.

Mt. Spokane feels close to home while still offering that mountain escape. It’s ideal for couples planning a small, intimate elopement with fewer guests, whether that means just the two of you or a small group of loved ones.
Because Mt. Spokane is a Washington state park, elopements may require permits depending on the location and guest count. Seasonal access and weather are also important considerations. I help guide couples through these logistics so planning stays simple and stress-free, and your focus stays where it belongs—on your relationship and your experience.
Ashly and Lauren chose to get married on the property where they’re building their forever home near Mt. Spokane. Their elopement wasn’t about creating a spectacle—it was about honoring the life they’re building together.
The day felt deeply personal and unhurried. Surrounded by the land that already held meaning for them, they exchanged vows in a way that felt true to who they are. Photographing an elopement like this—especially for a queer couple choosing to celebrate their love in a space that feels safe and affirming—is an honor I don’t take lightly.

Elopement photography coverage begins at 3 hours for $1,450 for celebrations with fewer than 25 guests. This allows time for a relaxed, intentional experience—space to breathe, connect, and enjoy your day without feeling pulled away from what matters most.
My approach is candid and guided. I’ll help structure the day in a way that feels natural, offer direction when it’s helpful, and step back when moments deserve to unfold on their own.

If you’re planning a Mt. Spokane elopement and want a photographer who values presence, inclusivity, and connection over perfection, I’d love to talk with you. Whether you’re early in the planning process or already have a date in mind, I’m happy to help you think through what your elopement could look like.
