Throughout my 7 years as a Wedding Photographer I’ve learned a thing or two that I wish I would have known when I was planning my wedding. If you’d like to learn tips & tricks, see real weddings, and sessions then this blog is for you! I hope this can be a tool for all my couples and anyone searching for wedding inspiration.
I lost count of the number of times I told Maddy & Scott that they cracked me up and I was having so much fun with them at The Barn on Wild Rose Prairie. Maddy is a ray of sunshine, just the most vibrant and loving personality. When you meet Scott, at first he seems a bit shy, but he is just as goofy and fun-loving as Maddy. They exude joy together.
From our first call I knew that we were a match made in weird heaven.
Maddy & Scott had a beautiful, emotional private first look. (They asked that I keep these photos private and for them only) and then “iced” their entire bridal party with shots of fireball.
North Spokane Wedding Photographer | Deer Park Wedding Venue
Who knew there were so many amazing wedding venues in Deer Park?! When I moved to Spokane a few years ago, I had no idea how many hidden gems there were in the tiny community of Deer Park just north of the City of Spokane, but there are so many amazing wedding venue options including The Barn on Wild Rose Prairie. This venue has so many amazing getting ready areas, sweeping views of the surrounding farmlands and hills, and has both indoor and outdoor locations for the reception. It’s truly such a gem!
Paige from Driftwood Point Events did an incredible job working with Maddy to bring hers and Scott’s wedding dreams to life at The Barn on Wild Rose Prairie.
When Maddy and I first spoke the one request she had was to show Mt. Spokane in the background of their couples session, she said it was one of the things that drew them to this venue and I can absolutely see why.
Maddy & Scott knew how to have fun and the party led by Imagine Events kicked serious butt. If you’re looking for a DJ that really knows how to hype a crowd, look no further.
Maddy & Scott chose to have a private last dance before their grand exit. I love the idea of one last dance just you and your new spouse. Right after they had a grand exit surrounded by all their friends & family.
and of course I can’t write a blog post without a shout out to the amazing vendors who helped make the day what it was.
