Throughout my 7 years as a Wedding Photographer I’ve learned a thing or two that I wish I would have known when I was planning my wedding. If you’d like to learn tips & tricks, see real weddings, and sessions then this blog is for you! I hope this can be a tool for all my couples and anyone searching for wedding inspiration.

If you’ve spent any time looking for a wedding photographer in Spokane, you’ve probably hit a wall of “contact me for pricing.” I get why photographers do it — it opens a conversation — but I also know how frustrating it is when you just want to know if someone is even in your budget before you spend 20 minutes filling out a form.
So here it is: my actual pricing, what’s included, and everything that affects the final number. No form required.
In the Spokane and North Idaho market, wedding photography typically ranges from about $2,500 on the lower end (newer photographers building their portfolio) to $6,000+ for experienced photographers with a strong editorial or documentary style. Most established photographers in the area fall somewhere between $3,500 and $5,500 for full-day coverage.
I fall squarely in that range. My packages start at $3,500 and go up to $5,500, depending on what you need.

All packages include an online gallery with high-resolution downloads, personal printing rights, sneak peeks delivered within 72 hours, and a timeline meeting and wedding guide before your day.
This is my foundational package — everything you need for a complete, beautifully covered wedding day.
This is the right fit if your wedding is fairly contained — one getting-ready location, ceremony and reception at the same venue, and you’re comfortable with a single set of eyes on the day.
This is what most of my couples book, and for good reason. Adding a second photographer changes the day significantly — you get both of your getting-ready moments covered simultaneously, a wider range of angles during the ceremony, and more candid coverage during portraits and reception.
The choice between the engagement session and rehearsal dinner coverage is one I love — it depends on whether you want time together before the wedding (highly recommend if you’re camera-shy) or want those candid rehearsal moments documented too.
For couples who want everything covered — more time, more hands, and more keepsakes.
The Polaroid keepsakes are a favorite — I hand them to couples at the end of the night. They’re also a really sweet guest-book alternative if you set out a little basket.
Beyond package tier, a few things can affect your total:
Hours of coverage. More hours = more of your day documented. 8 hours covers most weddings comfortably if you’re not doing a first look and have a tight timeline. 10 hours gives you real breathing room.
Second photographer. Having two of us means no missed moments — your partner getting ready, your grandma tearing up during the vows, the candid guest moments happening across the room. It’s the single biggest quality-of-life upgrade, which is why the Mt. Baker is so popular.
Travel. My studio is based near Spokane (zip 99005). Travel fees apply for venues more than 50 miles away, billed at $1.25 per mile. For venues more than 3 hours out with events ending after 9pm, there’s an additional $250 hotel fee. For Seattle weddings, I charge a flat $900 travel fee — that covers roundtrip mileage, two nights of lodging, and local expenses. Simple and predictable.
Custom packages. If none of my collections fit your day exactly, I’m always happy to build something that works. Every wedding is different and I’d rather get it right than have you squeeze into something that doesn’t fit.

I’d be a little biased answering this, but I’ll say it honestly: the photos are the one thing from your wedding day you’ll actually have forever. The flowers are gone by Sunday. The food is a memory. The venue looks different for every wedding. But a good photographer gives you something you can hold onto for the rest of your life — and hand down.
That said, the right photographer isn’t always the most expensive one. It’s the one whose work makes you feel something, whose communication puts you at ease, and whose style matches how you actually want your day to look.
